Classic Cocktails to Serve in Highball Glass

Mojito

Recipe from The Spruce

  • 2 oz. Rum (light)
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaved
  • Splash club soda
  • 1 lime (cut in 1/2)
  • Garnish: mint sprig
  1. Place the sugar, mint leaves, and a splash of club soda into a highball glass.
  2. Muddle to dissolve the sugar and to release the flavor of the mint.
  3. Squeeze juice from both halves of a lime into the glass, dropping one-half into the glass.
  4. Add the rum.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  7. Top with club soda.
  8. Garnish with the mint sprig

Ramos Gin Fizz

Recipe from Imbibe Magazine

  • 1.5 oz. Gin
  • 1 tbsp. simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 fresh egg white
  • 1 oz. heavy cream
  • 3 drops orange flower water
  • 1 oz. chilled Club Soda
  1. Combine everything except club soda in a shaker (NO ice)
  2. Shake vigorously 
  3. Add ice to shaker and shake for a few MINUTES (the longer, the better)
  4. Strain into glass
  5. Add club soda
  6. Stir

Mint Julep 

Recipe from Southern Cocktails

  • 2 oz. Bourbon
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup
  • 6-7 fresh mint leaves
  1. Combine all in glass
  2. Crush mint to release essence
  3. Fill glass with CRUSHED ice
  4. Garnish: mint
